Delivering Beyond Borders
Shipping Info
This Shipping Policy explains how Nexus Move handles delivery timeframes, fees, packaging requirements, and what happens when things don't go exactly to plan — from customs holds to the rare lost or damaged package. It works alongside our Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of our services more broadly.
Estimated delivery times vary based on the shipping method selected, origin and destination, and whether customs clearance is required. Typical timeframes are:
| Service | Estimated Delivery | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard (Domestic) | 2–5 business days | Excludes public holidays |
| Express (Domestic) | 1–2 business days | Subject to hub cut-off times |
| Standard (International) | 5–12 business days | Depends on destination customs |
| Express (International) | 3–6 business days | Priority customs handling where available |
These are estimates, not guarantees. The exact ETA for your shipment is shown on your tracking page and may be adjusted as your package moves through our network.
Shipping fees are calculated based on package weight, dimensions, declared value, service level, and destination. Where applicable, clearance fees are billed separately from the base shipping cost and must be settled before a shipment on hold for customs can continue transit or be released for delivery.
To reduce the risk of damage in transit, we recommend:
Shipments arriving at our facility with inadequate packaging may be repackaged at the sender's cost, or refused if the packaging poses a risk to other shipments or our staff.
In addition to the prohibited items listed in our Terms & Conditions, some items are restricted and may require additional documentation, special handling, or are simply not eligible for certain destinations — for example, lithium batteries shipped on their own, perishable goods, and high-value items above a declared value threshold. Contact our support team before shipping if you're unsure whether your item qualifies.
International shipments may be inspected by customs authorities at the destination country and can be placed on hold pending payment of duties, taxes, or additional documentation. When this happens, your shipment's progress bar remains at its last completed stage, and an Action Required notice appears on your tracking page with details on what's needed to release it. This is a temporary condition, not a failed delivery — normal progress resumes once clearance is complete.
Our couriers will attempt delivery to the address provided at checkout. If no one is available to receive the package, we will typically leave a notice and attempt redelivery, or hold the package at a local facility for pickup within a limited window. Repeated failed delivery attempts may result in the shipment being returned to sender at their cost.
Occasionally, delivery may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, customs backlogs, strikes, or other force majeure events. We'll reflect any known delays in your shipment's history, but we're not able to guarantee delivery dates affected by these events.
If your shipment appears lost (no tracking movement for an extended period) or arrives visibly damaged, contact our support team as soon as possible with your tracking number and, where relevant, photos of the damage. Claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and, where applicable, compensation is limited to the declared value of the shipment stated at the time of booking unless additional coverage was purchased.
For cross-border shipments, the sender is responsible for accurately declaring the contents and value of the package for customs purposes. Inaccurate declarations can result in delays, fines, or seizure by customs authorities, for which Nexus Move is not liable.
